There are many things I love in life, but a peaceful coffee in the morning has to be one of my most enjoyed pleasures.
Now I’m not taking away anything from my other loves and obsessions, some times I even combine them; its just that I have a coffee every morning and as I do shift work at the moment I am home in the mornings every other week. Add to that the glorious weather we are having at the moment (for future reference: UK, summer heatwave, 2018) it means I get to sit in the garden for an hour or two every morning (every other week) and just relax.
We’re all lucky in so many ways that sometimes you forget to take pleasure and in the really simple things. Things that don’t cost a lot of money, things that aren’t online, things that aren’t productive or fun.
Take a moment a consider what simple things you do to find peace and relaxation and then find a way to do them more often and then appreciate that you are doing them.
Life is good. Take a moment.
