The mist didn’t lift all day, the ground remained frozen, the sun tried to break through but to no avail. The mist won. And what a lovely day it was.
You have to love how atmospheric it feels.
In contrast, back out at Stanton Moor it was bright and beautiful and looking back towards Youlgreave the vale was covered in mist.
